Owner and lead designer, Amy lives in Bedfordshire with the loves of her life — her husband and son. Renovating, designing, and tweaking interiors of rental and owned properties since 2012, Amy is currently in the midst of renovating her Victorian property — bringing it back to its former glory and creating a space that is a reflection of the Townley family.
Amy's fascination with interior design dates back to her childhood in Sheffield, South Yorkshire. Raised by parents who constantly pushed the boundaries of conventional interior aesthetics, Amy's earliest recollections involve exploring Andy Thornton's Showroom, captivated by its eccentric decor and grand structures destined for contract furnishing clients. Inspired by her parents' unwavering zeal to personalise spaces, even on a limited budget, Amy acquired invaluable DIY skills, an understanding of spatial dynamics, and an innate ability to envision a home's untapped potential.
Her designs transcend trends, delivering clients with exquisite homes that not only ignite joy but also cater to the demands of family life. She firmly believes that homes should embody an eclectic fusion of fine craftsmanship, unique pieces, and a homage to personal taste and interests. Her suggested colour palettes lean towards muted tones adorned with vibrant and daring accents, while each of her creations incorporates meticulously curated furniture, fabrics, textiles, art, and decorative elements.
