Denmark Street

The owners of Denmark Street wanted to upgrade their bathroom from tired and lackluster, to create a neutral aesthetic that included both stone and wood, and incorporated a new standalone shower.

The brief

What.

The design and remodel of a bathroom in a Victorian terrace property. The owners required a full-service design, from the creation of the concept through to project managing the alterations.

Imagine it.

The owners knew they wanted to install a shower but the inspiration they gave Townley Design wouldn’t work due to the considerations needed for the space. Helping with spatial design and walking the owners through logistics such as plumbing and wiring was required.

Considerations.

The bathroom was situated in a former bedroom, as the owners had moved it from the ground floor to the first floor. This meant that a chimney breast was present and multiple ceilings were sloped. The bathroom also did not have a shower but the owners wanted to incorporate one into the floorplan.

Make it.

The project was managed from start to completion, producing a blank canvas for the owners to add to over time.
